Laboratorium Informatyki
The Computer Science Laboratory has been created on 1 January 2007. It is an organisational unit - directly subordinate to the Associate Dean for Education and Development - competent for didactics, science-research operations, and technical matters. The Laboratory is managed by the Head of the Computer Science Laboratory.
The Laboratory’s tasks include:
- securing the IT and technical infrastructure necessary to conduct classes in the Faculty’s laboratories and lecture halls;
- securing the IT and technical infrastructure necessary for proper operations of the Faculty computer network;
- maintaining and developing IT systems to support the execution of the statutory tasks of the Faculty;
- supporting science-research work at the Faculty;
- managing the material-technical economy at the Computer Science Laboratory.

The Design-Implementation Team is an internal organisational unit of the Computer Science Laboratory competent for maintaining and developing IT systems supporting execution of the statutory tasks of the Faculty. The Team is managed by the Head of the Computer Science Laboratory.
The scope of tasks of the Design-Implementation Team includes:
- maintaining and developing the website which allows the development and dissemination of curricula, education programmes, and syllabuses for individual education modules;
- maintaining and modernising the website that enables filing classes;
- maintaining and developing the website supporting class completion audits;
- maintaining and developing the online service constituting the Science-Research Activity Database that encompasses all the Faculty employees;

The Technical Section is an internal organisational unit of the Computer Science Laboratory competent for technical service at the Faculty’s laboratories. The Section is managed by the Head of the Computer Science Laboratory.
The Technical Section’s scope of operations includes:
- ensuring functioning of laboratories and lecture halls of the Faculty located at building no. 100 seven days a week between 07:30 and 21:30;
- supporting teaching staff during their classes;
- maintaining and modernising local cable, optic fibre, and wireless networks, including server rooms and access points;
- making the resources being a part of the Faculty computer network at building no. 100 available;
- maintaining the Faculty multimedia system (large screens);
- ensuring operation of website servers for the needs of: the Faculty, institutes, and conducted research-science works;
- maintaining the technical equipment in laboratories, lecture halls, the Faculty’s computer network, as well as the computers used by the management staff and Faculty administration units in good working order.
